Summer EBT, or SUN Bucks, is a new permanent nutrition program authorized U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to help families buy food for their school-aged children during the summer. Families that are currently participating in free/reduced lunch automatically qualify for Summer EBT and will be receiving a letter in the mail advising that no further action is needed. Applications will be available at a later date for any families that believe they would qualify, but are not currently participating in free/reduced lunch.
