Erie Pre School

to Erie Elementary Early Childhood Center's Preschool page. Our goal is to encourage all children to become ready to learn and provide a safe environment. At Erie Preschool, children develop the social, emotional and pre-academic skills they need. We offer a high quality program that brings together qualified staff, a proven curriculum, and parent involvement to help prepare children for success in school.

Our program runs five days a week for three hours per day. We offer full bus services within district. Our classes have at most a 10:1 student to adult ratio. Our Preschool parent/program coordinator oversees activities, parent programs and registration. Being housed in the same building as our kindergarten students, we find this program to be a great way to help transition students into the school setting.

Screening Info

Screenings are a necessity for our grant. All children who will be 3 years old by September 1 of the upcoming school year are required to be screened in order to attend Erie Pre-K. If your child is currently enrolled in Pre-K, they do not need to be re-screened.

Screenings will be held each Spring. Each screening takes about 45 minutes as children are put through simple cognitive, fine motor, hearing, and vision screenings. Nurses will be available for hearing and vision testing as well.

In addition to required registration documents found below, parents must submit a copy of an original birth certificate, current physical, and updated immunization records for their child.
